Providence Village and Cross Roads area, was this a Tornado?
Based on this video from Tabitha Tucker, we believe this was a very brief ‘landspout’ tornado along the leading edge of storm outflow.
The collision of air masses here earlier formed a brief area of tight spin, which sucked up dirt spinning it high in the air. It appears attached to the cloud deck, or very close to it.
