Meteorologist Trey Greenwood breaks down an ACTIVE week ahead across Texas, including two separate severe weather setups impacting North Texas and the DFW Metroplex.

The Storm Prediction Center has outlined severe weather risks for:
• Wednesday, March 4
• Friday, March 6

Both systems could bring damaging winds, large hail, and a few isolated tornadoes — especially across North Texas and southern Oklahoma.
We also have a fire weather concern across Far West Texas on Tuesday as strong winds develop ahead of the first storm system.

In this video, Trey covers:
• 500mb trough setup and jet streak positioning
• Surface moisture return from the Gulf
• Dryline placement and potential dryline bulge near the Red River
• CAPE and hodograph analysis
• Tornado potential comparison between Wednesday and Friday
• What may continue into next week

Wednesday currently looks more like a damaging wind and hail setup, while Friday may have a slightly greater tornado risk depending on how wind shear evolves.

As always, forecast details will evolve over the coming days. Stay tuned to Texas Storm Chasers for updates as confidence increases.
