A dangerous winter storm is underway across Texas as an arctic cold front surges south. Freezing rain, sleet, and snow are already impacting parts of the state, with worsening conditions expected tonight through Sunday morning.

In this Saturday morning Texas Weather Roundup, we break down:
• Where freezing rain vs sleet vs snow is occurring
• Areas at risk for power outages from ice accumulation
• Travel conditions along and north of I-10
• How cold it gets and how long sub-freezing temperatures last

Most of the northern half of Texas will remain below freezing through at least Monday, with single-digit temperatures and dangerous wind chills possible.
