After a prolonged stretch of cold and winter weather, Texas is finally heading into a quieter and warmer pattern. A warming trend continues today and Monday, followed by a weak cold front Tuesday that may bring scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder. No severe weather is expected.
By midweek, dry conditions return and temperatures steadily climb, with much of Texas warming into the 60s and 70s by the weekend, and even 80s in South Texas.
