Thunderstorms continue across parts of Texas Saturday evening, March 7, 2026, with storms shifting east of Interstate 35 and additional activity possible overnight.

Texas Storm Chasers Baldy-in-Chief David Reimer provides an evening weather update covering storms across Southeast Texas, South Central Texas, and the southern Plains.

Some storms this evening are producing heavy rain, frequent lightning, gusty winds, and pockets of hail. A few stronger storms in South Texas and the Brush Country may produce larger hail.

Storm chances may increase again overnight into Sunday morning across parts of South Central Texas and Southeast Texas, including San Antonio and Houston. While tornadoes are not expected, the strongest storms could produce hail, gusty winds, and locally heavy rain that may lead to street flooding.

Stay weather aware overnight, especially where multiple rounds of storms occur.
